___________________________________________       More Photos of Forest Park's Buddy Monument Located at Park Lane South and Myrtle Avenue (109th Street) in Richmond Hill Queens, New York This monument was erected in 1918 after WWI by the people of Richmond Hill to demonstrate their appreciation for the men who fought and died for their country. From that time on many Memorial Day Parades are held at this site as well as many of the community's special events and announcements.
